## Coverage

This page shows full-road conditions reported by MountainSwitch's listed SR-89 sources, including District 3 feed rows outside the modeled Palisades Tahoe, Tahoe City, Homewood, Granlibakken, South Lake Tahoe, Kirkwood, and Lake Tahoe approaches.

Those route-wide reports don't expand any destination verdict. Palisades Tahoe covers the Placer / Nevada county line to the Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows entrances; Tahoe City stops at the SR-28 junction; Homewood and Granlibakken each continue from that junction only to their separately reviewed Placer-side terminal. South Lake Tahoe and Lake Tahoe use the reviewed Picketts Junction–Meyers span through Luther Pass; Kirkwood follows that corridor in reverse and continues on SR-88 to Kirkwood Meadows Drive. West Shore through Emerald Bay and every span south of Homewood remain outside the Homewood and Granlibakken verdicts. Luther Pass chain reporting comes from a single checkpoint, and District 3 carries no Alpine County lane-closure reporting.

MountainSwitch does not determine whether a route should be driven. Verify with Caltrans before traveling.
