Technical details
Coverage details

Covers Wrightwood road conditions on both modeled SR-2 approaches serving Mountain High West — some nearby roads aren't monitored. See what's included.

The displayed status preserves both complete Wrightwood approach paths. The west path reaches Mountain High West from Islip Saddle, while the extended east path reaches it from I-15 / SR-138 and ends at the Big Pines Highway junction.

The standing Islip Saddle-to-Vincent Gulch closure affects only the west path. Big Pines Highway, resort entrances, parking roads, and other local roads are outside MountainSwitch coverage and must be verified separately.

Conditions can change quickly in the mountains. This page never replaces chain requirements, closures, or official Caltrans guidance. This page presents an existing hub corridor verdict and makes no claim about the resort last mile, in-resort circulation, best-route advice, or safe-to-drive conditions.
