Coverage details

Covers reported SR-41 conditions from listed sources — some nearby roads aren't monitored. See what's included.

This page shows full-road conditions reported by MountainSwitch's listed District 6 SR-41 sources, including feed rows outside the separate Oakhurst and Fish Camp destination spans. Rows outside those spans remain route-level only.

The Oakhurst destination span remains the reviewed SR-41 approach from 3 miles south of Coarsegold through Oakhurst to 3.5 miles north of Big Cedar Springs. Fish Camp reaches Yosemite South Entrance. Fish Camp coverage on SR-41 begins at the SR-49 junction in Oakhurst and ends at the Caltrans South Entrance state-route terminal. The Mariposa portion is administratively District 10 but operationally reported by District 6. Wawona Road and all in-park roads are outside this route coverage. Wawona, National Park Service-managed Wawona Road, other in-park roads, and local and county roads remain outside both destination answers.

Conditions can change quickly in the mountains. This page never replaces chain requirements, closures, or official Caltrans guidance. Oakhurst and Fish Camp retain separate destination answers. This route page supports no claim about Wawona, National Park Service-managed Wawona Road, other in-park roads, or local and county roads. Neither surface makes a safe-to-drive or all-clear claim.
